The Welsh Corgi Club of NSW is an incorporated non-profit organisation which is affiliated with the Dogs NSW and is a member body of the National Welsh Corgi Council of Australia.

The club's responsibility is to promote and foster the advancement of both the Cardigan and Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Some of the ways in which the club tries to achieve these goals are:

- To implement the Club's Code of Ethics to encourage responsible breeding and ownership of the Cardigan and Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

- To conduct Specialty shows by using Local, Interstate and International Judges who specialise in both breeds

- To attend pet expos to raise public awareness of our special breeds

- To publish a bi-monthly club newsletter
